The Report Of The Seventy
Disciples
The time had come for the return of the seventy
disciples, whom Jesus sent abroad to preach. And Jesus, Peter, James and John
began their journey back to Galilee. They went up through Samaria. They passed through many villages and towns,
and everywhere the people crowded the ways, to see the man the seventy spoke
about. And Jesus taught and healed the
sick.
And when they reached Capernaum, the seventy were there. And they were filled with joy. They said, “The Spirit of the Lord of Hosts
was with us all the way, and we were filled with the powers of the Holy Spirit.
The power of the sacred Word was manifest in us. We healed the sick. We caused the lame to walk, the deaf to hear,
the blind to see. The very devils trembled when we spoke the Word, and they
were subject unto us.”
And Jesus said, “As you were going on your way, the heavens were bright with
light, the earth was bright, they seemed to meet and be at one. And I saw Satan fall like lightning from
heaven. Behold, I give you the authority
to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the powers of the enemy, and
nothing shall by any means hurt you.
“But you should not rejoice because you have
the power to heal the sick and make the devils tremble by the Word. For such rejoicing is from carnal self. You
may rejoice because the nations of the earth have ears to hear the Word, and
eyes to see the glory of the Lord, and hearts to feel the inner breathing of
the Holy Spirit. And you may well be glad because your names are written in the
Lamb’s
Book Of Life.
Jesus In Thanksgiving Appreciation
Then Jesus looked to heaven and said, “I thank
thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have revealed yourself to
babies, and taught them how to light the path and lead the wise to yourself.
What you have given to me, behold, I have given the same to them, and through
the sacred Word I have bestowed on them the understanding heart, that they
might know and honour you through Christ, who was, who is, and who evermore shall be.”
A
Golden Opportunity
And
then He said aside (separately) to the seventy and twelve, “Most blessed are
your eyes because you see the things you see. And blessed they are your ears
because they hear the things they hear. And blessed are your hearts because you
understand.
“In ages that are gone, the wise of earth, the prophets, seers and
kings, desired to hear, to see and to know what you have heard, seen and known,
but they had not attained the necessary spiritual level. They had not the opportunity, and could not
hear, see and know.”
Jesus Rejoices In The Spirit
In that hour Jesus
rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and
earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise
and prudent and revealed them to babies. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good
in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me
by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the
Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal
Him."
Then He turned to
His disciples and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the
things you see; for I tell you that many
prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and
to hear what you hear, and have not heard it." Luke 10:21-24
Neither By Miracles Nor By Testimonies
But in Truth, Righteousness and Holiness.
In the following statements, God cautions the
world against miracles, messages, etc:
My children,
I want to tell you something.
Do not depend on miracles.
Do not depend on miracles, signs and wonders.
Do not trust in it.
Do not depend on so many messages.
Messages, messages, messages.
For many have perished by this (by so doing).
The world do not want to be taught the way.
They do not want to know the Truth.
All they want is signs and wonders.
Miracle, miracle, miracle.
Where it is it booming (ebe o n’afio)
where is it happening.
Yes, they do not want to know the Truth.
They do not want to know the way of life.
They do not want to know what I want to be done.
They do not want to know my commandments.
They do not want to know my Sabbath day.
They are looking for miracles
and the enemy is using miracle to misled so many souls.
I am warning you.
Be very careful and wise (Uche unu di kwa
ya).
Be very careful and wise.
Do not depend on much miracle or give me message.
Do not depend on much miracle or give me message.
Delivering message is good.
Delivering message is good,
if it is from me.
if it is from me.
It is good to give revelations,
if it is from me.
Be very careful and wise (Uche unu di kwa
ya).
As I told you in the beginning,
be as wise as serpent and as humble as dove.
First, seek the Truth.
Keep my commandments.
So that I shall abide with you in perfection.
So that I shall abide with you in perfection,
for I am present from time to time.
Why People Should
Rejoice
Apostle Matthew: The powers of the Holy Spirit are already in the ministers of God. The powers are not yet manifest, because some of the ministers have not grown in spirit. Even when the powers become manifest, the ministers of God rejoice in themselves that God gave them such power and glory. Truly, truly and truly, any person who has grown in spirit, does not rejoice because he has spiritual powers, which have being given to him. Instead, he rejoices in the fact that he is using the powers to do the work of God.
If people rejoice because they have the powers, they shall become proud and pompous. And when people bring a problem to them, they do not first inquire from God, on what to do and how to do so, because they know the powers are already in them. They will be using the powers, whether God wants it so or not. Truly, truly and truly, such a person has the powers, but he has not yet grown in spirit. He has not reached the necessary spiritual level and has not qualified.
Worthwhile Praises
Apostle Matthew: It is not a sin to praise somebody for his good works. It is fitting to praise and encourage somebody who has the power of the Holy Spirit. The Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven are not against praises, for the good works, which God is using somebody to do.
Some people see somebody who has the power of the Holy Spirit, they rejoice and praise the person, and they honour and respect the person.
Angels Examine
Praises
Apostle Matthew: The Angels examine the heart with which they praise the person. Some praise others, because themselves want to have the same power or to tap the same blessing. The Angels can bless those who appreciate and rejoice, by giving them the same power or other powers of the Holy Spirit. This is because such a person uses purity of heart and gladness to welcome the Holy Spirit and His works. His attitudes shows that he is not against the power of the Holy Spirit and its work. If he were against, he would not have praised the good works, and he will be doing underground manipulations to pull down the person or say bad prayers against the person. The Angels teach such a person and help him to make his spiritual talent manifest.
The point we are making today is this, whether people praise you or not, continue to do your good works.
Against Hindrances
Apostle Matthew: Wickedness
can hinder the work of the Holy Spirit in the midst of God’s people. Therefore,
the children of God should avoid all forms of bad human relations and various characteristics:
anger and wrath, ill will, regrets, sorrows, worry, anxiety, fear, weakness in
prayer, etc.
